Our Vision

IBS International Business School Ljubljana is modern, open higher education institution developing student-centred learning. IBS will strive to achieve high quality in teaching, scientific research and professional work, continuously improve the educational and academic structure of its staff and the knowledge of its graduates, develop innovative and internationally comparable study and research programmes and international cooperation in both education and research.

IBS International Business School will adapt its pedagogical and scientific content to the needs of the economy and non-economy.

BA - 1.st Bologna

The BA programme International Business programme is adapted according to Bologna directives. It lasts for three years. Students acquire 180 ECTS. After passing all the courses of the chosen module students write and present their diploma.

 

Programme BA International Business intends to educate practically oriented business professionals who are well acquainted with relevant knowledge from International business and are able to communicate in two and/or three foreign languages. Students develop also knowledge of sustainable business, ethics, public administration and responsible attitude towards contemporary problems of society andenvironment.
 

The basic objective of the programme International Business is to acquaint students with professional and managing tasks in different organizations, especially in companies and institutions which are integrated into international cooperation. Beside basic professional – theoretical knowledge in the field of business sciences students acquire also practical knowledge for work in international business anddevelop competences for independent work planning, organization, performance and monitoring, fluent communication in foreign languages, for sustainable development and for work in the public sector.

MA - 2.nd Bologna

MA International Business and Sustainable Development lasts two years. Students acquire 120 ECTS. After passing all the examinations the students write and present their Master thesis.

 

Programme and title of MA International Business and Sustainable Development. After completion of all the obligations the student acquires the title MA International Business and Sustainable Development.

 

MA programme International Business and Sustainable Development was created for BA graduates of different programmes who face problems of sustainable development as element of decision-making in the business world. The main objective of the MA International Business and Sustainable Development is to educate graduates who will be able to perform professional and managerial tasks in differentorganization systems, especially in enterprises, in public sector and in other institutions that are involved in international cooperation. Beside basic professional-theoretical knowledge in the business area the students acquire also specific knowledge necessary for work in the international business and develop competencies for understanding of sustainable development as opportunity for better work.

E-journal

E-journal IBS Newsletter is devoted to Slovenian and foreign scientists, researchers, specialists, students and experts in the fields of international business, sustainable development, foreign languages and public administration. The most important part of IBS Newsletter is publishing of reviewed scientific, research, professional and popular articles that discuss themes like international business, sustainable development, organization, law, environmental economics and politics, marketing, research methods, management, corporate social responsibility and other topics.
