The IBS International Business School Ljubljana successfully hosted the international conference “Challenges in Implementing Sustainability in International Business” on 25 and 26 March 2026, bringing together students, mentors, and experts to exchange knowledge and insights on sustainability in a global business context.

The conference began with an in-person session in Ljubljana, followed by an online program the next day. Participants presented a wide range of topics, including sustainable human resource management, global supply chain challenges, green innovation, and sustainability reporting.

The event also featured engaging discussions on current challenges, opportunities, and best practices in implementing sustainability across industries.

Students played a central role in the conference, presenting their research under the guidance of experienced mentors and contributing to a dynamic academic dialogue. The event highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and critical thinking in addressing sustainability issues in international business.

We would like to thank all participants, mentors, and organizers for their valuable contributions in making the conference a great success.
